I usually start with the good points in most occasions, but i'll start with the ones that need to be worked on first this time.

What i thought was strange and odd was the grain and noise in the background of this macro. It seemed a little too distracting.

I also looked closer (however close I could press my nose to the screen) and noticed the beginning of this macro being pixelated. I was pretty put off by that. Perhaps you had cropped it, zoomed it in, and then sharpened it a little too much? I cannot tell for sure.

But as far as I criticize, I cannot fault you any further because I find that the picture is well composed, well lighted in tone, perfectly set up in a manner that let's us not be distracted by the backgrounds and best of all, post processed in a colour that simply makes this look good.

Did I mention? Even the frame makes this picture look good.

What I liked about the intricate detail (pixilated or not aside) is that it looks so much like a steel structure that was woven so nicely to form a leaf. When it was actually real.

You certainly have an eye for this. Perhaps you should invest in a DSLR with a macro lens to pursue this talent!
